This Privacy Policy explains how Medical Student AI ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website, mobile apps and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

  • Information you give us. For example, your account details (such as your name and email address), your profile and study preferences, and the content you send or upload while using the Service, including messages, files and voice input.
  • Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we collect information about your device and how you use the Service, such as usage activity, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use cookies and similar technologies for this.
  • Purchase information. If you buy a subscription, we receive confirmation and status of the purchase. Payments are handled by the app store or payment provider you use; we do not receive your full card details.

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate and personalize the Service, including its AI features;
  • maintain, improve and develop the Service;
  • manage your account and subscriptions;
  • communicate with you, including about support, updates and changes;
  • keep the Service safe and secure, and prevent misuse; and

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • with service providers who help us run the Service and who may use it only to provide their services to us;
  • with your educational institution, if you use the Service through an account it provides;

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, security or legitimate business purposes.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access, correct or delete your personal information;

  • receive a copy of it; and
  • withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. You can also manage permissions such as microphone access in your device settings. To make any other request, contact us using the details below.

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where we transfer information, we take steps to protect it as described in this policy.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and where the changes are significant we will let you know.
